Using Mise en Mémoire

Mise is a private journal for fine dining. Log every tasting menu course by course: the dish, the photo, your rating, the wine that was poured, who you were with and why you went. Turn an evening into a card for Instagram, or export it as a PDF memoir.

Button names appear exactly as they do in the app, like Put to Memory. Make sure you have the latest version from the App Store (1.0.3 or later).

01

  1. Download “Mise en Mémoire” from the App Store.
  2. Open the app and tap Sign in with Apple, or use Sign in with email.
  3. Your empty journal appears with “Log your first meal”. You're ready.

Everything you log is stored in your account. On a new phone, sign in the same way and it all comes back.

02

The Journal

The Journal is home: every meal you've logged lives here.

  • Calendar icon (top right): your Reservations.
  • Gear icon: Settings for your subscription, profile and sign-out.
  • Search meals… finds a restaurant by name.
  • Sort by Recent, Rating or Restaurant, and filter by Michelin distinction.
  • Each card shows the restaurant, date, rating, occasion, number of courses and which visit it was (for example Visit #2).
  • The brass + button (bottom right) starts a new meal.

Upcoming reservations appear as a strip at the top of the Journal.
